Jane Asher was born on April 5, 1946 and she met Paul in April of 1963.
Paul and Jane got engaged many times throughout the next 5 following years.
The engagement was called off in the middle of 1968.
In March of 1969, Paul got finally married with Linda Eastman.
Jane inspired Paul to write many songs like And I Love Her or Things We Said Today. After Paul had fallen out with her, she also inspired him to write an anger-filled song called I'm Looking Through You.
Jane is the sister of Peter Asher of Peter and Gordon fame.
She is an actress,
writer and businesswoman.
She has appeared in plays, films, radio and television
productions and has written over a dozen books.
